Type - Rⁿ/Möbius of Echelon
- Canon Character(s)
Rules: Choosing a Character: So you want to be a canon character, huh? Well, that's all fine and dandy, but these rules you must follow.
I. You MUST have at least basic knowledge of the canon you are taking a character from. This ties in with the breaking character rule. As well, having at least basic knowledge of how the Fate OR Tsukihime worlds work will help you in the long run, trust me. ------ If you want a character that is not on this list, PM Rin, and they will be added.
II. You may only reserve TWO major characters, i.e. main or important plot characters. If you take this route, you may only claim one from two of the three series. For example, out of the three main protagonists (Tohno Shiki, Emiya Shirou, and Ryougi Shiki), you would only be able to reserve and app for two of them. If you are taking this route, PM a staff member and obtain permission for using the second character. ------ You also have the option of reserving ONE major plot character, and ONE minor plot character. Minor characters are, for example, Nrvnsqr Chaos (Tsukihime), Fujimura Taiga (Fate/Stay Night), and Kokutou Azaka (Kara no Kyoukai). If you are unsure about which is a minor and which a major, PM the staff.
III. You may NOT copy the personality, nor history from the Type-Moon wikia. This is considered plagiarism, and anyone who does it will be told to re-write their profile.
IV. If you go too OOC with your character the staff reserve the right to strip you of your character. An example; if you're RPing Ciel, and you decide that she would idolize a different food that is not curry, that's breaking character. The same would go for turning Shirou or Shiki into bloodthirsty savages. DON'T DO IT!
Type Moon holds many alternate universes. What happens in one may not in the other. A character may hold similar or totally different traits and abilities. At times the character might have never existed at all. Keep this in mind when you're RPing. You are able to pull information from these alternate universes, but make sure it still fit's the character. For instance: Matou Shinji from Hollow Ataraxia actually turned into a better guy than his counterpart in Fate/Stay Night (or the other endings to that visual novel). You could opt to make a Shinji that will lean towards, or head, down the directional path like in HA.
V. When it comes to the choice of canon characters, you may only pick ONE Master or Servant, you are not allowed both.
There are fourteen Masters and Servants in total. Meaning seven are OCs. This is part of our story. So if you want one of the OC spots click here and claim.
When dealing with canon Servants, it works like this. If someone does not apply for their canon Master, their masters are minor characters, and the OC magus profiles start piling up, they are free to find an OC magus to be contracted with.
Reservations: I. If Someone has a claim on the character you want/has reserved them. It is considered "First come, first served". If the person reserves the character and doesn't post their app/hasn't been on in a week, you may reserve for the character. Reservations only last one week. ------ If you do not at least have a WIP up by then, you lose the reserve.
Grading: I. Major characters will be graded on a harder scale than any other characters. For example, someone who apps Nrvnsqr will not be looked at as harshly as someone who apps Arcueid. Plot relevance and other miscellaneous things will determine this.
II. Characters that have been graded will be moved to their appropriate sections. Once they are, you are unable to drop this character for 3 months time.
Dropping Characters and Hiatus: I. If a person wishes to drop a character you need to contact either Tohsaka Rin, Tarry or Tengu so that they are notified and find a way to pull your character out of the story.
II.If you plan on leaving the site, you are required to post in Scheduling, with your notification. This is to show respect to the staff, and players, that you at least have enough maturity to not just ditch them and cause their characters to be stone-walled.
III.If you go on "hiatus" for over 72 hours, you are required to post a message in Scheduling as well to notify us when you plan to be gone, and return. You do not have to go into detail if you do not want to. Again, this is a courtesy towards the staff and players.
* You must reply to your roleplay threads once every 72 hours to be considered Active or your character will be archived and the character slot will be freed up.
When claiming a character spot, you (the player) is responsible for handing in a profile using one of our templates and following the rules necessary when making the character you want to play. The staff, and no other members, are obligated to help you aside from answering questions and giving you ideas. We will not allow copy-pasting profiles from other sites, using templates that do not belong to T-Rⁿ/MoE, copy-pasting information from other sources, or using character profiles others have created in the past on this site (or another) to claim is your own.
In no way, is anyone, allowed to make characters that purposely troll a player, or their character, outside of the storyline just to cause problems.

All reservations will be listed upon acceptance and remain for one week's time. If no profile (WIP or otherwise) is seen for the player/character then the reservation will be taken down and you will have to make the reservation again.
We do this because some members are not finishing profiles and still claiming characters when others are waiting for spots. ***** Updated - 01/20/15
